Turret Camera
Our most commonly used type of camera. They can usually be used both indoor and outdoors. Turrets are a popular choice due to their standardised design, versatility and various mounting options.
Dome Camera
These have a dome-shaped anti-vandal housing and are commonly used for indoor surveillance where they are vulnerable to attack. Popular with banks, post offices or other higher security premises.
Bullet Camera
Bullet cameras are cylindrical in shape and are often used industrially for outdoor surveillance. They're normally used for long distance captures or are chosen for there visual deterrence.
PTZ Camera
PTZ stands for Pan-Tilt-Zoom, and these cameras offer remote control over their movement and zoom functions. They can pan horizontally, tilt vertically, and zoom in or out, providing versatile surveillance coverage.
Fisheye Camera
Fisheye cameras have a wide-angle lens that captures a 360-degree panoramic view. They are suitable for monitoring large areas with a single camera, such as back offices, safe rooms or over till systems.
Covert Camera
Covert cameras, also known as hidden or spy cameras, are designed to be discreet and blend into the environment. Unfortunately we have made a decision not to offer these to our residential customers.

IP (POE) Cameras vs AHD/TVI/POC
AHD, TVI, and POC cameras are types of analog cameras that transmit video signals over coaxial cables and can be more affected by interference. On the other hand, IP (Internet Protocol) cameras are digital cameras that use network cables to transmit video data. Here are the key differences and benefits of IP cameras compared to AHD/TVI/POC cameras:
- Video Quality: IP cameras generally provide higher video resolution, frames per second and improved image quality compared to AHD/TVI/POC cameras.
- Flexibility and Scalability: IP cameras operate on an IP network, allowing for flexible placement and easy scalability. They can be connected to the existing network infrastructure, making it convenient to expand the surveillance system by adding more cameras. They can either be transmitted over WiFi if required. AHD/TVI/POC camera installs are typically limited since they generally require a cable from the recorder to each camera.
- Advanced Features: IP cameras can offer a wide range of advanced features and functionalities such as video analytics, facial recognition, license plate recognition, integration with other security systems, and more. AHD/TVI/POC cameras generally have fewer advanced features compared to IP cameras.

AHD/TVI/POC cameras often have limited integration capabilities.

For fresh installs though, it's a no brainer, we only offer IP solutions using POE cameras.
